It’s fixed, but only after the first door opener installed was faulty, the second one worked, almost four hours later and the technician wore his frustration on his sleeve. Not my best experience in home repair. To be honest I rarely leave unsatisfactory reviews but so much could be done better.

I have no idea why I used this service. Why would anyone use someone who charges you $89.50 to do nothing while other companies provide a free estimate?
- Maureen Scholl
We are sorry that you didn't value the service we provided at your service appointment. We did inform you of our service call fee when you booked the appointment, which you fully seemed to understand. Upon arrival at your home we conducted the 28 point safety inspection and gave you the report. In our opinion the fact that your springs and many other parts on your counter balance system were either worn beyond their normal functionality or were failing should have been a concern as it was certainly a safety issue. We provided you with 3 options for you and encouraged you to at least fix the malfunctioning/broken parts. These is exactly what we stated we would do for our service fee. For the record, nearly all reputable service companies charge a service fee to come out to your home to provide repair services.

Too long to arrange an appointment so I got a quote and ordered from someone else already

Bad communication, unprofessional attitude from technician and management, unwillingness to respond to customer complaints. Everything is automated, no personal service or follow-up. This company will charge you whether or not any work is done, or done well.
- Kathleen Sharkey
We try very hard to make every customer experience as pleasant as possible. This one seems to not have gone that way. Ms. Sharkey called us to come out to look at her broken lift cable. When we arrived, she explained that she believed that the repair should be covered by her existing warranty. We reviewed the work that we had done previously and determined that her broken cable had nothing to do with any previous work and therefore was not covered by our warranty – we installed a new garage door opener in the Fall of 2017. Our technician tried to explain that the warranty for her opener had nothing to do with the parts on her garage door. The customer would not accept the technician’s explanation and immediately called the office. While talking to our general manager she became very nasty and then hung up the phone. The customer refused to pay the service fee, despite having initially agreed to pay it while setting up the appointment. We are sorry that this customer felt we didn’t live up to our promise, but clearly, she just became angry when she realized that the work was not covered by her warranty for her garage door opener. This customer's comments are a reflection of her refusal to accept the fact that our warranty only covers parts and labor for work performed by us.

Rich Netto arrived at our home in response to a service call. Our garage door equipment (after 25 years) was not in good shape. He was able to provide a reasonable diagnosis of our situation and we decided to go with a complete replacement. We felt comfortable with the process and are looking forward to having our new doors installed in the Spring.
